How does SMART STEP work?

SMART STEP is not a superficial humectant—it acts at the level of the hair's internal structure:

• Glycols, sugars, and hyaluronate actively attract and draw water into the hair strands;
• Algin, pullulan, and a polymer matrix (Patch-20) retain moisture during the procedure;
• Amino acids and Zinc PCA stabilize hair before chemical treatment and improve its ability to retain moisture.

Directions for use

For eyebrow and eyelash lamination or bleaching

SMART STEP is ideal for preparing dry, coarse, thick, or damaged hair before lamination or bleaching.

Cleanse eyelashes or eyebrows with OKO Cloudy Foam 3-in-1 Shampoo.

Apply SMART STEP to dry, clean hair.

Contact time: 30 seconds to 1-2 minutes (depending on the degree of dryness and damage).

Remove excess with a dry cotton pad or cotton swab.

Continue with your lamination or bleaching procedure.

Home Care

SMART STEP can be used for intensive moisturizing between at-home eyelash and eyebrow care treatments.

Apply a small amount of SMART STEP and leave it on until completely absorbed.

If needed, finish with a fixing or nourishing product. As a makeup base

SMART STEP can be used as an intensive, next-generation moisturizing primer for skin before makeup.

Apply a thin layer of SMART STEP to clean skin.

Leave for 30-60 seconds for absorption.
