Lotion Diluent is a means for regulating the thickness of laminating glue.
It is used if the glue has become thick and viscous for some reason, and also helps to adjust the consistency of the glue to the needs of the master.
Lotion Diluent:
Reduces the viscosity of glue
Dilutes the thickness of the glue
The glue solvent contains the same components as the lamination glue, with the exception of the structure-builder and the thickener, which gives the glue viscosity and adhesive properties. Since the solvent is identical in composition to the glue (it has a thermodynamic affinity), it reduces the viscosity of the glue, preserving the original adhesive properties. The glue dissolves in it, reducing its concentration, but does not lose its properties at the same time.
Due to the principle "like dissolves in like", the components quickly mix with each other, forming a homogeneous mixture.
